- Level replacement
- -----------------
- This file is meant to replace the 13th GDI mission. It does work when
- used with other missions, but has been designed specifically for this
- mission.
-
- Mission description
- -------------------
- Betrayal!!! Some GDI forces have betrayed and joined in NOD forces.
- They are attacking GDI base from which they've escaped. You must
- defend the GDI base and destroy the betrayers.
- Be cautious that at least one NOD base exists in the area. So, you
- must destroy the NOD base too.
-
- Usage
- -----
- For those who don't want to bother messing around editing files, a savegame
- has been supplied that was taken the instant the level started. Simply copy
- this file (savegame.020) into your Command and Conquer directory (rename it
- if you don't want to lose one of your savegames). Then simply load that file
- when you start. You will not be able to restart the mission if you do this,
- you will have to re-load it if you need to try again. If you choose this
- method, you can ignore the next part.
-
- If you want something more complete, you need to have the GDI version of
- the general.mix file on your hard drive. You also need the program
- mixman.exe ...
- Patch the file general.mix(in GDI disk) with the file betrayal.ini and betrayal.map
- (betrayal.ini replacing scg13ea.ini, betrayal.map replacing scg13ea.map)
- And copy the general.mix and mission.ini into Command and Conquer directory.
-
- You will now be able to use this scenario properly when you play the 13th
- GDI mission.
-
- If you put the file mission.ini into your Command and Conquer directory,
- you will not be able to access the mission text for other missions until
- it is removed. So, if you are using savegame method, do NOT copy the file
- mission.ini into your Command and Conquer directory.
-
-
- Other Information
- -----------------
- Well as this is my first level for C&C, there might be some bugs in it(I have
- tested it for several days.). Just play the level and send me some email
- to say whether you liked it or not, or about the difficulty(I think that
- this mission is not so easy but that is not impossible.)
-
- Enjoy.
